Kelly Rudder is a senior at Kirtland High School. She is a fourth year member of our school’s FTC team, and she was in FLL for three years in middle school. Kelly joined FTC because she enjoyed FLL and wanted to further advance the skills she learned there. Kelly is a 2017 Dean’s List Award Winner and this year, team captain of the Electric Hornets. Her favorite subject is Calculus because she enjoys math, and Kelly is part two math clubs. Outside of FTC, Kelly is in girl scouts, 4-H, NHS, a camp counselor, and she twirls baton (marching band and competition). Kelly also dabbles in competitive guinea pig showing. Next year, she plans to attend college majoring in computer engineering with a minor in computer science. FIRST has helped Kelly learn how to work with a team, improve her public speaking, and think innovatively.
